Sushi = raw fish? Not correct |
|
Many people seem to confuse Sushi with raw fish. Sushi originally refers to the vinegar-flavored rice itself, and later onto the rice with a slice of raw or vinegar-cured fish on top of it. Raw fish served without vinegar-flavored rice is called sashimi. If you are interested in learning more Sushi terms, check out the Vocabulary and Jargon page. |
